Last Updated: 29 May 2026
Important Notice
These Beta Terms apply to beta, trial, pilot, early access, prototype, pre-release, experimental, test, preview or unreleased Teamstar features.
Beta access is higher risk than ordinary use. Bugs, downtime, data loss, incorrect AI outputs, broken workflows, changed features, removed features and unexpected behaviour are expected.
Nothing in these Beta Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, remedy, liability or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
1) Relationship with other documents
By joining, testing, accessing or using the Teamstar beta, you agree to:
- these Beta Terms;
- the Teamstar Terms of Service:
TermsOfService.html;
- the Teamstar Privacy Policy:
Privacy.html;
- the Teamstar Constitution:
Constitution.html;
- any beta instructions, notices, release notes, test rules or access conditions we provide.
If there is inconsistency:
- the Privacy Policy controls how personal information is handled;
- these Beta Terms control beta and pre-release use;
- the Terms of Service control everything else.
2) Participation and eligibility
Beta participation is invitation-only or access-controlled unless Teamstar says otherwise.
You must be at least 16 years old. No access is permitted for users under 16.
You must have legal capacity to participate and must provide accurate account, contact, identity and eligibility information.
We may accept, refuse, limit, revoke, suspend or terminate beta access at any time, with or without notice.
Beta access is personal to you unless we approve otherwise in writing.
3) Pre-release nature of the Beta
The Beta is experimental, incomplete, untested, unstable and provided for evaluation, feedback, testing and product development.
Beta features may:
- contain bugs, security issues, errors, delays and data loss risks;
- produce inaccurate, unsafe, unsuitable or unexpected results;
- change, break, disappear or be reset without notice;
- be unavailable, slow, incompatible or interrupted;
- never be commercially released;
- be released in a different form;
- be removed from your account at any time.
Teamstar is not obligated to provide maintenance, support, backups, compatibility, data recovery, updates, training, bug fixes, service levels or a commercial release.
4) No production or high-risk reliance
You must not rely on the Beta for:
- emergency use;
- safety-critical use;
- medical, legal, financial, tax, investment, migration, employment, insurance or compliance decisions;
- production business operations;

- decisions that could materially affect a person’s rights, interests, employment, finances, health, education, housing, insurance, reputation, safety or legal position.
You use the Beta at your own risk.
5) Beta AI features
The Beta may include AI-assisted features such as drafting, rewriting, summarisation, search assistance, profile structuring, chipset extraction, recommendations, matching, moderation support, trust/safety support, translation, project structuring, idea refinement and workflow assistance.
Beta AI features are experimental tools only.
AI inputs, outputs, suggestions, summaries, classifications, chipsets, prompts, matches, rankings, recommendations, warnings and moderation suggestions may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, offensive, misleading, duplicated, infringing, unsafe or unsuitable.
Teamstar does not warrant that Beta AI features:
- are accurate, reliable, fair, unbiased, secure, confidential or lawful for your intended use;
- produce unique, protectable, non-infringing or commercially safe outputs;
- correctly identify skills, goals, identity, trustworthiness, suitability, qualifications, intent or risk;
- provide professional advice or replace human judgment;
- comply with requirements that apply to your industry, profession or use case.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and deciding whether to use any AI output.
Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, regulated, personal, health, financial, employment, government, security or trade-secret information into Beta AI features unless you have authority, a lawful basis and accept the processing described in our Privacy Policy and beta notices.

- AI-assisted discussion refocusing;
- matching and recommendation systems;
- visibility controls;

- moderation and safety tooling.
These systems are experimental and discretionary.
You do not have a right to any particular match, ranking, visibility, recommendation, prompt, badge, label, trust signal, profile classification, feature access, audience, opportunity, job, collaborator, mentor, investor, candidate, hire, follower count or beta outcome.
Downranking, visibility limits, warning prompts, account review, content removal, feature restriction or beta removal do not entitle you to compensation.

8) Your content and test data
You are responsible for all content, files, prompts, data, messages, feedback and materials you provide in the Beta.
Do not upload production-critical, confidential, regulated, privileged, irreplaceable or sensitive information unless you have authority and accept the risk.
You must maintain your own backups.
Teamstar is not responsible for lost, corrupted, deleted, exposed, delayed or inaccessible beta content except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Content licences in the Terms of Service apply to Beta content.
9) Feedback licence
You grant Teamstar a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, copy, modify, commercialise, disclose, incorporate, adapt and exploit any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, ideas, comments, designs, product requests, screenshots, recordings, notes or other beta feedback you provide, without restriction, attribution, payment or obligation to you.

Inside official Teamstar beta forums or channels for your cohort, you may discuss Beta information only with other authorised participants in that same cohort.
You must not issue public reviews, media statements, social posts, videos, screenshots, claims, benchmarks, comparisons or announcements about the Beta without Teamstar’s written consent.

Third-party terms and policies apply to those services.
Teamstar is not responsible for third-party availability, security, pricing, outputs, data practices, support, defects or decisions.
13) No support, no SLA and no compensation

Teamstar may provide support at its discretion.
You are not entitled to payment, credits, refunds, equity, employment, contractor status, compensation, prizes, reimbursement, feature access, commercial access or ongoing use because you joined the Beta, used the Beta or provided feedback.
14) Warranties and disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Beta is provided “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE”, “WITH ALL FAULTS” and for evaluation only.
Teamstar disclaims all warranties, representations and guarantees not expressly stated in these Beta Terms, including warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, security, performance, merchantability, fitness for purpose, title, non-infringement, compatibility, data retention, uninterrupted access, commercial release, AI output quality, matching quality, ranking quality, moderation quality, content quality, professional outcome, employment outcome, business outcome, learning outcome, collaboration outcome or investment outcome.

- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If a failure with the service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
Nothing in these Beta Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
16) Risk allocation and limitation of liability

Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, Teamstar’s liability is limited, at our option and where permitted by law, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of resupplying the services.
17) Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you indemnify Teamstar, its officers, employees, contractors, directors, shareholders, advisers, suppliers, licensors and affiliates against claims, losses, liabilities, costs, damages and expenses, including legal costs on a full indemnity basis, arising from or connected with:

You must not use the Beta in jurisdictions, industries or use cases where your use would require Teamstar to obtain licences, approvals, registrations or regulatory permissions that Teamstar has not expressly agreed to obtain in writing.
21) Changes to Beta Terms
We may update these Beta Terms at any time.
Continued beta access or use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Beta Terms.
